Patient safety – especially as we work to resume elective surgery – is of the utmost importance.

Last week, ²ÝÝ®ÉçÇø was as a useful COVID-19 resource for health systems, hospitals and surgeons to safely restart elective surgery.

Our FREE allows surgery teams to restart surgery sooner and safely:

For patients waiting for a surgery date: the tool automatically screens patients for their willingness to have surgery and for COVID-19 risk factors (e.g. demographics, comorbidities, travel history). Surgeons can access reports on patient readiness and risk factors to determine which patients are the best candidates to have surgery sooner.

For patients with a booked surgery date: the tool screens patients daily
for COVID-19 symptoms, flags patients who may be at-risk and provides
patients with self-care education on COVID-19 and proper isolation
protocols. Surgeons can access reports to review COVID-19 risk levels, to
better inform if any surgeries need to be rescheduled.

In addition to our best practice education (which includes ongoing updates for state-specific and CDC guidelines), we’ve so that health systems can deliver interactive, evidence-based, COVID-19 multimedia content through ²ÝÝ®ÉçÇø all at no cost.

As the world aims to restart surgery, we are honored to be mentioned by the ACS and for the opportunity to help support the surgeon community-at-large.
